About Us
At a public meeting held at the Castle Hotel, Neath, in 1974 the Neath and Tennant Canals Preservation Society was formed.
Within three years the society formed itself into a company, limited by gurantee and registered as a charity. In 2006 the Neath and Tennant Canals Preservation Society officially changed its name at Companies House to the Neath and Tennant Canals Trust.
The trust at present has over 150 members and is managed under a Memorandum and Articles of Association.
