The Aqueduct, completed in 1824 to join the Neath and Tennant Canals, is a Grade 11* listed building and Ancient Monument. It suffered considerable damage in February 2020 by storm Dennis.

The aqueduct was then surveyed, thankfully this indicated that the damage was not as bad as was feared
